Brown Bear Hunting in Romania
An Exceptional Carpathian Experience
The brown bear is one of the defining species of the Romanian Carpathians. A hunting experience involving this species is exceptional by nature and is arranged only when legally permitted, subject to the applicable quota, authorisations, documentation and confirmation from the responsible hunting ground.

The Experience
A Species That Demands Responsibility
Brown bear hunting in Romania must be approached differently from an ordinary hunting product. Legal availability cannot be assumed, and Carpathian Reserve will never advertise or confirm an experience before the responsible hunting partner has verified that it can lawfully take place.
When an experience can legally be arranged, the hunting ground, method, dates and practical conditions are established by the authorised hunting manager and the professionals responsible for the hunting activity.
Our role is to coordinate the client journey around those confirmed conditions, maintain clear communication and ensure that the experience is never presented as a guaranteed or standardised package.
Strictly Subject to Law
Availability Is Confirmed Case by Case
Brown bear experiences are considered individually.
Before any commercial proposal is issued, Carpathian Reserve consults the relevant hunting partner and verifies the legal framework, current availability, applicable quota, required permits and the conditions attached to the specific opportunity.
If these conditions cannot be confirmed, the experience is not offered. No availability, hunting method, trophy characteristics or outcome is promised in advance.
Legal & Documentary Conditions
Confirmed Before Any Booking
Any Brown Bear experience is subject to the legislation in force at the time of the request, the applicable quota and authorisations, and confirmation by the responsible hunting ground and competent authorities where required.
Because the brown bear is subject to a strict legal and conservation framework, documentation may extend beyond the hunting authorisation itself. Where applicable, trophy movement or export can also require CITES documentation and separate sanitary-veterinary, customs and transport formalities.
Carpathian Reserve coordinates these administrative steps when requested, but the competent authorities and specialised professionals remain responsible for issuing, validating or performing the relevant official procedures.

Brown Bear pricing is not presented as a fixed public tariff. Any applicable hunting-ground and trophy charges are established by the responsible hunting ground and are communicated only after legal availability and the conditions of the specific opportunity have been confirmed.
Carpathian Reserve does not add hidden mark-ups to hunting-ground prices. The applicable hunting-ground charges are presented separately from our coordination services and from optional third-party services.
